Job Title: Lead Practice Nurse – Shanklin
Location: Shanklin
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year depending on experience.

About the Role

A well established GP surgery in Shanklin is seeking a Lead Practice Nurse to strengthen its nursing team. You will work alongside GPs, ANPs and healthcare assistants delivering the full range of practice nursing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nurse led clinics for patients with long term conditions.
• Carry out phlebotomy, ear care, spirometry and other treatment room procedures.
• Deliver flu, shingles, pneumococcal and childhood vaccinations.
• Support new patient checks and NHS health checks.
• Keep clinical records complete and up to date.

Requirements

• Active NMC registration
• Experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting
• Chronic disease management and immunisation experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
