This service in Earley we are seeking a Nurse Practitioner based on minor injuries provides inpatient and day case elective surgery across the following specialities Orthopaedics, Oral Surgery, Gynaecology, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Eye Surgery, Endoscopy and Pain Management.
A large treatment centre with 5 theatres.
The part is to aid the arrangement of a quality medical caretaker drove administration to patients going to the Minor Injury Unit. The post holder will assess patients health needs with a range of minor illness and injury conditions, plan their care, administer treatment and discharge them or refer them as appropriate to other healthcare professionals/or seek advice and support from a more experienced member of staff.
A small, but expanding GP Centre in the Earley area is now recruiting for an experienced Nurse Prescriber to join their team.
The vacancy will suit an Independent Prescriber who can autonomously assess and treat patients for minor illness. The post is a new role for the centre and they’re keen to employ someone who’s motivated and intrigued by propelling their middle.
The successful Nurse Prescriber will join an affectionate and extending group within a general practice setting. You will initially be asked to offer some locum availability, for a couple of weeks only and to work around your availability, to be able to trial the centre. This will be paid at locum rates.
