About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Locum Dental Hygienist to provide short-term cover at a supportive dental practice in Wolsingham, County Durham. This role offers competitive hourly rates, flexibility in working sessions, and the opportunity to join a friendly team delivering excellent preventive care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality scale and polish treatments.
- Provide periodontal maintenance and preventive advice.
- Support patients with oral health education and motivation.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with infection control standards.
- Work seamlessly alongside dentists, nurses, and reception staff.
Requirements
- Current GDC registration.
- Valid professional indemnity insurance.
- Up-to-date CPD portfolio.
- Strong chairside manner and ability to work independently.
Desirable: Experience in both NHS and private settings, familiarity with SOE/Exact or similar practice management systems.
