About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and professional Dental Hygienist to join a welcoming dental practice in Aberaeron, Ceredigion on a part-time basis. This role offers excellent flexibility for work–life balance, while still giving you the chance to develop your skills and deliver outstanding care to patients in this scenic coastal town.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide scale and polish treatments as well as periodontal maintenance.
- Educate and motivate patients to maintain excellent oral hygiene.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with clinical governance and infection control.
- Work closely with dentists, nurses, and reception staff to deliver a first-class patient journey.
Requirements
- Current GDC registration.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- Up-to-date CPD record.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
Desirable: Experience in both NHS and private settings, and confidence with direct access hygiene.
