Job Description of a Southampton Nurse Practitioner
The Nurse Practitioner In Southampton will work with the practice team to provide high-quality care which meets the needs of the practice’s patient population.
Working within defined professional boundaries, they will be able to make safe clinical decisions relating to assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and review. The NP will demonstrate critical thinking ability.
The Nurse Practitioner will function as an integral part of the clinical leadership team in the practice, providing advice and guidance to the nursing team to ensure they deliver care based on the needs of the practice’s population.
Key Responsibility of a Nurse Practitioner
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be vital to the Units’ success, assessing, diagnosing, treating, and discharging patients autonomously every day. And also requesting examinations and deciphering results, you’ll be in charge of giving an incredible standard of patient care and well-being advancement to the overall population getting to critical care administrations.
You will provide safe and effective telephone advice, health assessment, and information to the general public and provide safe and effective health assessments going to Primary Care Centers
Skills & Experience of Nurse Practitioner
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Have recent experience in acute/primary care nursing
- Be competent in telephone advice and triage service
- Have recent experience of face-to-face patient care
- Have Nurse Practitioner experience or evidence of independent practice
