About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and adaptable Locum Dental Hygienist to provide temporary cover at a busy and supportive practice in Alford, Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for hygienists who enjoy flexibility, variety, and excellent rates of pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide scaling, polishing, and periodontal treatments to patients.
• Deliver oral health advice and preventive care guidance.
• Maintain clear and accurate patient records in line with GDC standards.
• Adhere strictly to infection prevention and cross-infection control protocols.
• Support the practice during periods of staff absence or increased demand.

Requirements

• Current GDC registration.
• Valid professional indemnity insurance.
• Up-to-date CPD and strong clinical knowledge.
• Ability to adapt quickly in new environments.

Desirable: Previous locum/temporary hygienist experience.
