Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) – Scunthorpe Emergency
Location: Scunthorpe Emergency
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £45 – £65 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a supportive GP practice in Scunthorpe Emergency. This is an excellent locum opportunity to run your own clinics seeing patients with acute and minor illness, with GP support on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced clinical assessment across a varied primary care caseload.
- Diagnose and manage acute illness with GP support available.
- Prescribe within your competence as an independent prescriber.
- Support the duty doctor with on the day demand.
- Maintain thorough, contemporaneous clinical records.
Requirements
- NMC registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Recent primary care or urgent care experience
- Independent prescriber with a current portfolio
- Excellent communication and decision making skills
