Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) – Pickering
Location: Pickering
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a supportive GP practice in Pickering. This is an excellent full-time opportunity to run your own clinics seeing patients with acute and minor illness, with GP support on site.
Key Responsibilities
- See patients with acute and undifferentiated presentations in face to face and telephone clinics.
- Assess, diagnose, treat and refer within your scope of practice.
- Prescribe independently as a registered non-medical prescriber.
- Support the management of long term conditions.
- Record consultations accurately on the practice clinical system.
Requirements
- NMC registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Recent primary care or urgent care experience
- Independent prescriber with a current portfolio
- Excellent communication and decision making skills
