Job Title: Chronic Disease Practice Nurse – Cambridgeshire
Location: Cambridgeshire
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £25 – £40 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
An opportunity has become available for a Chronic Disease Practice Nurse in Cambridgeshire. The practice is forward thinking, well organised and puts patient care and staff wellbeing first.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nurse led clinics for patients with long term conditions.
- Carry out phlebotomy, ear care, spirometry and other treatment room procedures.
- Deliver flu, shingles, pneumococcal and childhood vaccinations.
- Support new patient checks and NHS health checks.
- Keep clinical records complete and up to date.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- Experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting
- Chronic disease management and immunisation experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
