Job Title: Lead Practice Nurse – Emergency Kilmarnock East
Location: Emergency Kilmarnock East
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £32,000 – £44,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Lead Practice Nurse for a GP practice in Emergency Kilmarnock East. The role suits a nurse with primary care experience who wants variety across chronic disease clinics, immunisations and treatment room work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage long term condition reviews to QOF standards.
- Undertake treatment room duties including dressings, injections and ECGs.
- Support the practice immunisation programme.
- Provide contraception and sexual health advice within competence.
- Work with the wider team to deliver safe, effective care.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- Experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting
- Chronic disease management and immunisation experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
