Job Title: Emergency Veterinary Surgeon – Nantyglo
Location: Nantyglo
Employment Type: Temporary Locum
Rate: £350 – £550 per day depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for a caring and professional Emergency Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly veterinary team in Nantyglo. This is an excellent temporary/locum opportunity for someone passionate about animal welfare and high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first opinion care across a varied caseload.
- Undertake surgical procedures appropriate to experience.
- Support and mentor nursing colleagues.
- Keep clinical records to RCVS standards.
- Contribute to the practice out of hours rota as agreed.
Requirements
- MRCVS registration and right to work in the UK
- Confident in routine consulting and surgery
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Commitment to high clinical standards
