Job Title: GP Surgery Practice Nurse – Exotics Huntingdon
Location: Exotics Huntingdon
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £25 – £40 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced GP Surgery Practice Nurse to join a friendly GP practice team in Exotics Huntingdon. This is an excellent locum opportunity for a nurse who enjoys long term condition management, health promotion and building relationships with patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nurse led clinics for patients with long term conditions.
- Carry out phlebotomy, ear care, spirometry and other treatment room procedures.
- Deliver flu, shingles, pneumococcal and childhood vaccinations.
- Support new patient checks and NHS health checks.
- Keep clinical records complete and up to date.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Primary care or treatment room experience
- Confident with cytology, immunisations and long term condition reviews
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
