Job Title: Locum Practice Nurse – Exotics Pontllanfraith
Location: Exotics Pontllanfraith
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to join a friendly GP practice team in Exotics Pontllanfraith. This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a nurse who enjoys long term condition management, health promotion and building relationships with patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Run chronic disease clinics including asthma, COPD, diabetes and hypertension.
- Deliver childhood and adult immunisations and travel vaccinations.
- Carry out cervical screening and wound care.
- Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice.
- Maintain accurate records on the practice clinical system.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Primary care or treatment room experience
- Confident with cytology, immunisations and long term condition reviews
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
