Job Title: Practice Nurse – Farm Animal Worksop
Location: Farm Animal Worksop
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £25 – £40 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Practice Nurse for a GP practice in Farm Animal Worksop. The role suits a nurse with primary care experience who wants variety across chronic disease clinics, immunisations and treatment room work.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold chronic disease management clinics with appropriate follow up.
- Perform cervical cytology and provide family planning advice.
- Administer vaccinations and manage cold chain compliance.
- Assess and treat minor injuries and wounds.
- Contribute to audits, protocols and infection control.
Requirements
- NMC registered nurse
- Recent experience in general practice
- Up to date with mandatory training and revalidation
- Familiar with EMIS or SystmOne
