Job Title: Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Musselburgh North
Location: Musselburgh North
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an autonomous Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a supportive GP practice in Musselburgh North. This is an excellent full-time opportunity to run your own clinics seeing patients with acute and minor illness, with GP support on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous consultations for patients of all ages.
- Manage acute presentations and exacerbations of chronic disease.
- Issue prescriptions and make onward referrals.
- Mentor practice nurses and support their development.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit and protocol review.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Independent prescribing qualification (V300)
- Experience managing minor illness in primary or urgent care
