Job Title: General Practice Nurse – Merthyr Tydfil Exotics
Location: Merthyr Tydfil Exotics
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £25 – £40 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced General Practice Nurse to join a friendly GP practice team in Merthyr Tydfil Exotics. This is an excellent locum opportunity for a nurse who enjoys long term condition management, health promotion and building relationships with patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage long term condition reviews to QOF standards.
- Undertake treatment room duties including dressings, injections and ECGs.
- Support the practice immunisation programme.
- Provide contraception and sexual health advice within competence.
- Work with the wider team to deliver safe, effective care.
Requirements
- NMC registered nurse
- Recent experience in general practice
- Up to date with mandatory training and revalidation
- Familiar with EMIS or SystmOne
