Job Title: GP Surgery Practice Nurse – Farm Animal Port Talbot
Location: Farm Animal Port Talbot
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £25 – £40 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
A well established GP surgery in Farm Animal Port Talbot is seeking a GP Surgery Practice Nurse to strengthen its nursing team. You will work alongside GPs, ANPs and healthcare assistants delivering the full range of practice nursing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage long term condition reviews to QOF standards.
- Undertake treatment room duties including dressings, injections and ECGs.
- Support the practice immunisation programme.
- Provide contraception and sexual health advice within competence.
- Work with the wider team to deliver safe, effective care.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- Experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting
- Chronic disease management and immunisation experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
