About the Role

We are looking for an experienced GP Surgery Practice Nurse to join a friendly GP practice team in Luton. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys long term condition management, health promotion and building relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold chronic disease management clinics with appropriate follow up.
• Perform cervical cytology and provide family planning advice.
• Administer vaccinations and manage cold chain compliance.
• Assess and treat minor injuries and wounds.
• Contribute to audits, protocols and infection control.

Requirements

• NMC registered nurse
• Recent experience in general practice
• Up to date with mandatory training and revalidation
• Familiar with EMIS or SystmOne
