About the Role

A well established GP surgery in Exotics Norton St Philip is seeking a GP Surgery Practice Nurse to strengthen its nursing team. You will work alongside GPs, ANPs and healthcare assistants delivering the full range of practice nursing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Run chronic disease clinics including asthma, COPD, diabetes and hypertension.
• Deliver childhood and adult immunisations and travel vaccinations.
• Carry out cervical screening and wound care.
• Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice.
• Maintain accurate records on the practice clinical system.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
• Primary care or treatment room experience
• Confident with cytology, immunisations and long term condition reviews
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
