Job Title: Sole Charge Veterinary Nurse – Sunderland
Location: Sunderland
Employment Type: Temporary Locum
Rate: £20 – £30 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for a caring and professional Sole Charge Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly veterinary team in Sunderland. This is an excellent temporary/locum opportunity for someone passionate about animal welfare and high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Run nurse clinics and support preventative health care.
- Prepare theatre and assist during surgery.
- Monitor recovery and administer prescribed treatments.
- Keep clinical records accurate and up to date.
- Support and mentor student veterinary nurses.
Requirements
- Current RCVS registration
- Confident with anesthesia and theatre work
- Excellent client communication
- Up to date CPD
