Job Title: Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Pangbourne
Location: Pangbourne
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £45 – £65 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
A well established primary care practice in Pangbourne is seeking a Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner. You will assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe for patients presenting with undifferentiated conditions as part of the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous consultations for patients of all ages.
- Manage acute presentations and exacerbations of chronic disease.
- Issue prescriptions and make onward referrals.
- Mentor practice nurses and support their development.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit and protocol review.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Independent prescribing qualification (V300)
- Experience managing minor illness in primary or urgent care
