Job Title: Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Letchworth
Location: Letchworth
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £45 – £65 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an autonomous Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a supportive GP practice in Letchworth. This is an excellent locum opportunity to run your own clinics seeing patients with acute and minor illness, with GP support on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous consultations for patients of all ages.
- Manage acute presentations and exacerbations of chronic disease.
- Issue prescriptions and make onward referrals.
- Mentor practice nurses and support their development.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit and protocol review.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Non-medical prescriber
- Confident working autonomously with GP support
