We are currently recruiting a Lead Practice Nurse for a GP practice in Kirkcaldy East. The role suits a nurse with primary care experience who wants variety across chronic disease clinics, immunisations and treatment room work.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold chronic disease management clinics with appropriate follow up.
• Perform cervical cytology and provide family planning advice.
• Administer vaccinations and manage cold chain compliance.
• Assess and treat minor injuries and wounds.
• Contribute to audits, protocols and infection control.

Requirements

• Active NMC registration
• Experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting
• Chronic disease management and immunisation experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
