Job Title: Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Oxford
Location: Oxford
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £45 – £65 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
A well established primary care practice in Oxford is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner. You will assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe for patients presenting with undifferentiated conditions as part of the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- See patients with acute and undifferentiated presentations in face to face and telephone clinics.
- Assess, diagnose, treat and refer within your scope of practice.
- Prescribe independently as a registered non-medical prescriber.
- Support the management of long term conditions.
- Record consultations accurately on the practice clinical system.
Requirements
- NMC registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Recent primary care or urgent care experience
- Independent prescriber with a current portfolio
- Excellent communication and decision making skills
