Job Title: Locum Practice Nurse – Farm Animal Greengates
Location: Farm Animal Greengates
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £32,000 – £44,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
A well established GP surgery in Farm Animal Greengates is seeking a Locum Practice Nurse to strengthen its nursing team. You will work alongside GPs, ANPs and healthcare assistants delivering the full range of practice nursing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold chronic disease management clinics with appropriate follow up.
- Perform cervical cytology and provide family planning advice.
- Administer vaccinations and manage cold chain compliance.
- Assess and treat minor injuries and wounds.
- Contribute to audits, protocols and infection control.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Primary care or treatment room experience
- Confident with cytology, immunisations and long term condition reviews
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
