Rate: £25 – £40 per hour depending on experience.

About the Role

A well established GP surgery in Stanhope is seeking a Senior Practice Nurse to strengthen its nursing team. You will work alongside GPs, ANPs and healthcare assistants delivering the full range of practice nursing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Run chronic disease clinics including asthma, COPD, diabetes and hypertension.
• Deliver childhood and adult immunisations and travel vaccinations.
• Carry out cervical screening and wound care.
• Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice.
• Maintain accurate records on the practice clinical system.

Requirements

• NMC registered nurse
• Recent experience in general practice
• Up to date with mandatory training and revalidation
• Familiar with EMIS or SystmOne
