Job Title: Urgent Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Night Emergency Ipswich
Location: Night Emergency Ipswich
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £45 – £65 per hour depending on experience.

An opportunity has arisen for a Urgent Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Night Emergency Ipswich. The practice is well organised, forward thinking and committed to advanced practice as part of its clinical model.
Key Responsibilities
- Run same day and urgent access clinics for minor illness and minor injury.
- Order and interpret investigations and act on results.
- Prescribe independently and review medication.
- Carry out home visits where required.
- Work closely with GPs, pharmacists and the nursing team.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Independent prescribing qualification (V300)
- Experience managing minor illness in primary or urgent care
