Job Title: Urgent Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Emergency Emergency Sheffield
Location: Emergency Emergency Sheffield
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £45 – £65 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an autonomous Urgent Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a supportive GP practice in Emergency Emergency Sheffield. This is an excellent locum opportunity to run your own clinics seeing patients with acute and minor illness, with GP support on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous consultations for patients of all ages.
- Manage acute presentations and exacerbations of chronic disease.
- Issue prescriptions and make onward referrals.
- Mentor practice nurses and support their development.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit and protocol review.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Non-medical prescriber
- Confident working autonomously with GP support
