Job Title: Locum Practice Nurse – Lydd
Location: Lydd
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £25 – £40 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
Our client, a busy primary care practice in Lydd, is recruiting a Locum Practice Nurse. The role offers a supportive team, protected clinic time and genuine investment in your development.
Key Responsibilities
- Run chronic disease clinics including asthma, COPD, diabetes and hypertension.
- Deliver childhood and adult immunisations and travel vaccinations.
- Carry out cervical screening and wound care.
- Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice.
- Maintain accurate records on the practice clinical system.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Primary care or treatment room experience
- Confident with cytology, immunisations and long term condition reviews
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
