Job Title: Primary Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Macduff Farm Animal
Location: Macduff Farm Animal
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £45 – £65 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an autonomous Primary Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a supportive GP practice in Macduff Farm Animal. This is an excellent locum opportunity to run your own clinics seeing patients with acute and minor illness, with GP support on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Run same day and urgent access clinics for minor illness and minor injury.
- Order and interpret investigations and act on results.
- Prescribe independently and review medication.
- Carry out home visits where required.
- Work closely with GPs, pharmacists and the nursing team.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Independent prescribing qualification (V300)
- Experience managing minor illness in primary or urgent care
