Job Title: Urgent Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Maidens Exotics
Location: Maidens Exotics
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £45 – £65 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
A well established primary care practice in Maidens Exotics is seeking a Urgent Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner. You will assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe for patients presenting with undifferentiated conditions as part of the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous consultations for patients of all ages.
- Manage acute presentations and exacerbations of chronic disease.
- Issue prescriptions and make onward referrals.
- Mentor practice nurses and support their development.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit and protocol review.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Non-medical prescriber
- Confident working autonomously with GP support
