Job Title: Minor Illness Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Chagford

Rate: £45 – £65 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Minor Illness Advanced Nurse Practitioner for a GP surgery in Chagford. The role suits an experienced advanced practitioner who wants a settled position with real clinical responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous consultations for patients of all ages.
- Manage acute presentations and exacerbations of chronic disease.
- Issue prescriptions and make onward referrals.
- Mentor practice nurses and support their development.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit and protocol review.
Requirements
- NMC registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Recent primary care or urgent care experience
- Independent prescriber with a current portfolio
- Excellent communication and decision making skills
