Job Title: Minor Illness Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Exotics Bristol
Location: Exotics Bristol
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £48,000 – £62,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an autonomous Minor Illness Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a supportive GP practice in Exotics Bristol. This is an excellent permanent opportunity to run your own clinics seeing patients with acute and minor illness, with GP support on site.
Key Responsibilities
- See patients with acute and undifferentiated presentations in face to face and telephone clinics.
- Assess, diagnose, treat and refer within your scope of practice.
- Prescribe independently as a registered non-medical prescriber.
- Support the management of long term conditions.
- Record consultations accurately on the practice clinical system.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Independent prescribing qualification (V300)
- Experience managing minor illness in primary or urgent care
