Job Title: Minor Illness Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Farm Animal Newark-on-trent East
Location: Farm Animal Newark-on-trent East
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an autonomous Minor Illness Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a supportive GP practice in Farm Animal Newark-on-trent East. This is an excellent full-time opportunity to run your own clinics seeing patients with acute and minor illness, with GP support on site.
Key Responsibilities
- See patients with acute and undifferentiated presentations in face to face and telephone clinics.
- Assess, diagnose, treat and refer within your scope of practice.
- Prescribe independently as a registered non-medical prescriber.
- Support the management of long term conditions.
- Record consultations accurately on the practice clinical system.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Independent prescribing qualification (V300)
- Experience managing minor illness in primary or urgent care
