Job Title: Urgent Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner – New Tredegar
Location: New Tredegar
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £48,000 – £62,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an autonomous Urgent Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a supportive GP practice in New Tredegar. This is an excellent permanent opportunity to run your own clinics seeing patients with acute and minor illness, with GP support on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced clinical assessment across a varied primary care caseload.
- Diagnose and manage acute illness with GP support available.
- Prescribe within your competence as an independent prescriber.
- Support the duty doctor with on the day demand.
- Maintain thorough, contemporaneous clinical records.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Independent prescribing qualification (V300)
- Experience managing minor illness in primary or urgent care
