Job Title: Treatment Room Practice Nurse – Night Hornchurch
Location: Night Hornchurch
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £25 – £40 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
An opportunity has become available for a Treatment Room Practice Nurse in Night Hornchurch. The practice is forward thinking, well organised and puts patient care and staff wellbeing first.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nurse led clinics for patients with long term conditions.
- Carry out phlebotomy, ear care, spirometry and other treatment room procedures.
- Deliver flu, shingles, pneumococcal and childhood vaccinations.
- Support new patient checks and NHS health checks.
- Keep clinical records complete and up to date.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Primary care or treatment room experience
- Confident with cytology, immunisations and long term condition reviews
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
