Job Title: Lead Practice Nurse – Exotics Holmfirth
Location: Exotics Holmfirth
Employment Type: Part-Time flexible sessions
Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year pro rata depending on experience.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Practice Nurse to join a friendly GP practice team in Exotics Holmfirth. This is an excellent part-time opportunity for a nurse who enjoys long term condition management, health promotion and building relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nurse led clinics for patients with long term conditions.
• Carry out phlebotomy, ear care, spirometry and other treatment room procedures.
• Deliver flu, shingles, pneumococcal and childhood vaccinations.
• Support new patient checks and NHS health checks.
• Keep clinical records complete and up to date.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
• Primary care or treatment room experience
• Confident with cytology, immunisations and long term condition reviews
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
