Job Title: Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Oldbury Emergency
Location: Oldbury Emergency
Employment Type: Part-Time flexible sessions
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per year pro rata depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an autonomous Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a supportive GP practice in Oldbury Emergency. This is an excellent part-time opportunity to run your own clinics seeing patients with acute and minor illness, with GP support on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced clinical assessment across a varied primary care caseload.
- Diagnose and manage acute illness with GP support available.
- Prescribe within your competence as an independent prescriber.
- Support the duty doctor with on the day demand.
- Maintain thorough, contemporaneous clinical records.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Independent prescribing qualification (V300)
- Experience managing minor illness in primary or urgent care
