About the Role

A well established GP surgery in Armagh is seeking a Locum Practice Nurse to strengthen its nursing team. You will work alongside GPs, ANPs and healthcare assistants delivering the full range of practice nursing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold chronic disease management clinics with appropriate follow up.
• Perform cervical cytology and provide family planning advice.
• Administer vaccinations and manage cold chain compliance.
• Assess and treat minor injuries and wounds.
• Contribute to audits, protocols and infection control.

Requirements

• NMC registered nurse
• Recent experience in general practice
• Up to date with mandatory training and revalidation
• Familiar with EMIS or SystmOne
