Job Title: Treatment Room Practice Nurse – Bawtry
Location: Bawtry
Employment Type: Part-Time flexible sessions
Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year pro rata depending on experience.
About the Role
An opportunity has become available for a Treatment Room Practice Nurse in Bawtry. The practice is forward thinking, well organised and puts patient care and staff wellbeing first.
Key Responsibilities
- Run chronic disease clinics including asthma, COPD, diabetes and hypertension.
- Deliver childhood and adult immunisations and travel vaccinations.
- Carry out cervical screening and wound care.
- Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice.
- Maintain accurate records on the practice clinical system.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Primary care or treatment room experience
- Confident with cytology, immunisations and long term condition reviews
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
