Job Title: GP Surgery Practice Nurse – Emergency Stirling Emergency
Location: Emergency Stirling Emergency
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £32,000 – £44,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced GP Surgery Practice Nurse to join a friendly GP practice team in Emergency Stirling Emergency. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys long term condition management, health promotion and building relationships with patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold chronic disease management clinics with appropriate follow up.
- Perform cervical cytology and provide family planning advice.
- Administer vaccinations and manage cold chain compliance.
- Assess and treat minor injuries and wounds.
- Contribute to audits, protocols and infection control.
Requirements
- NMC registered nurse
- Recent experience in general practice
- Up to date with mandatory training and revalidation
- Familiar with EMIS or SystmOne
