Job Title: Practice Nurse – Downpatrick

Salary: £32,000 – £44,000 per year depending on experience.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a friendly GP practice team in Downpatrick. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys long term condition management, health promotion and building relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nurse led clinics for patients with long term conditions.
• Carry out phlebotomy, ear care, spirometry and other treatment room procedures.
• Deliver flu, shingles, pneumococcal and childhood vaccinations.
• Support new patient checks and NHS health checks.
• Keep clinical records complete and up to date.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
• Primary care or treatment room experience
• Confident with cytology, immunisations and long term condition reviews
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
