Job Title: Prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Caerphilly
Location: Caerphilly
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
Our client in Caerphilly is recruiting a Prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work alongside the GP partners. The practice values clinical autonomy and offers protected time, peer support and a manageable caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous consultations for patients of all ages.
- Manage acute presentations and exacerbations of chronic disease.
- Issue prescriptions and make onward referrals.
- Mentor practice nurses and support their development.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit and protocol review.
Requirements
- NMC registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Recent primary care or urgent care experience
- Independent prescriber with a current portfolio
- Excellent communication and decision making skills
