Job Title: Prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Chester
Location: Chester
Employment Type: Part-Time flexible sessions
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per year pro rata depending on experience.
About the Role
Our client in Chester is recruiting a Prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work alongside the GP partners. The practice values clinical autonomy and offers protected time, peer support and a manageable caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Run same day and urgent access clinics for minor illness and minor injury.
- Order and interpret investigations and act on results.
- Prescribe independently and review medication.
- Carry out home visits where required.
- Work closely with GPs, pharmacists and the nursing team.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Non-medical prescriber
- Confident working autonomously with GP support
