Job Title: Prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Newbury
Location: Newbury
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £45 – £65 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
A well established primary care practice in Newbury is seeking a Prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner. You will assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe for patients presenting with undifferentiated conditions as part of the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced clinical assessment across a varied primary care caseload.
- Diagnose and manage acute illness with GP support available.
- Prescribe within your competence as an independent prescriber.
- Support the duty doctor with on the day demand.
- Maintain thorough, contemporaneous clinical records.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Non-medical prescriber
- Confident working autonomously with GP support
