Job Title: Primary Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Kilbirnie
Location: Kilbirnie
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £48,000 – £62,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an autonomous Primary Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a supportive GP practice in Kilbirnie. This is an excellent permanent opportunity to run your own clinics seeing patients with acute and minor illness, with GP support on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced clinical assessment across a varied primary care caseload.
- Diagnose and manage acute illness with GP support available.
- Prescribe within your competence as an independent prescriber.
- Support the duty doctor with on the day demand.
- Maintain thorough, contemporaneous clinical records.
Requirements
- NMC registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Recent primary care or urgent care experience
- Independent prescriber with a current portfolio
- Excellent communication and decision making skills
