About the Role

A well established primary care practice in Swadlincote is seeking a Primary Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner. You will assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe for patients presenting with undifferentiated conditions as part of the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• See patients with acute and undifferentiated presentations in face to face and telephone clinics.
• Assess, diagnose, treat and refer within your scope of practice.
• Prescribe independently as a registered non-medical prescriber.
• Support the management of long term conditions.
• Record consultations accurately on the practice clinical system.

Requirements

• NMC registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner
• Recent primary care or urgent care experience
• Independent prescriber with a current portfolio
• Excellent communication and decision making skills
