About the Role

We are looking for a caring and professional Referral Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly veterinary team in Clacton-on-Sea. This is an excellent part-time opportunity for someone passionate about animal welfare and high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Run nurse clinics and support preventative health care.
• Prepare theatre and assist during surgery.
• Monitor recovery and administer prescribed treatments.
• Keep clinical records accurate and up to date.
• Support and mentor student veterinary nurses.

Requirements

• Current RCVS registration
• Confident with anesthesia and theatre work
• Excellent client communication
• Up to date CPD
