Job Title: Senior Practice Nurse – Leyland

Salary: £32,000 – £44,000 per year depending on experience.

About the Role

A well established GP surgery in Leyland is seeking a Senior Practice Nurse to strengthen its nursing team. You will work alongside GPs, ANPs and healthcare assistants delivering the full range of practice nursing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage long term condition reviews to QOF standards.
• Undertake treatment room duties including dressings, injections and ECGs.
• Support the practice immunisation programme.
• Provide contraception and sexual health advice within competence.
• Work with the wider team to deliver safe, effective care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
• Primary care or treatment room experience
• Confident with cytology, immunisations and long term condition reviews
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
