Job Title: Sole Charge Veterinary Nurse – Gargrave
Location: Gargrave
Employment Type: Temporary Locum
Rate: £20 – £30 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for a caring and professional Sole Charge Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly veterinary team in Gargrave. This is an excellent temporary/locum opportunity for someone passionate about animal welfare and high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality nursing care across inpatients and day cases.
- Assist with diagnostic imaging and laboratory work.
- Monitor anesthesia from induction through recovery.
- Maintain stock, equipment and theatre hygiene.
- Provide clear aftercare advice to clients.
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification.
- RCVS registration
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Passion for animal care and welfare
